In many industrial heating applications a Circulator is used which has three waveguide
ports utilizing ferrite technology to selectively direct energy to a specific port
based upon the direction of wave propagation. By placing a load on the port where
reflected energy is directed, a three-port circulator is often used as an isolator
to absorb reflected power before it can reach and cause damage to the magnetron.
Industrial Microwave Systems offer circulators which support power levels up to 120
